The Pelsis Academy – officially opened by the UK’s pest control industry associations

The Pelsis Academy was officially opened on Thursday 19th November, celebrating the launch of this exciting and innovative new learning and development facility. 

Situated at the Pelsis Group’s headquarters in North Yorkshire, UK, The Pelsis Academy is designed to provide pest controllers with a vibrant environment to develop their pest control knowledge and skills. 

Alongside the well equipped training rooms, the centrepiece of the Academy is a two-storey house where pest controllers can put their skills to the test, looking for indicators of pest activity, surveying, monitoring and recommending treatments supported by a leading technical training team. 

The Pelsis Academy was jointly opened by Adam Hawley (NPTA) and Simon Forrester (BPCA), the Chairmen of the UK’s two pest control industry associations. Guests came from around the globe to celebrate the launch, enjoying tours of the site and taking part in taster training sessions which ran throughout the day. 

The opening of this new facility is the latest development to further support the Group’s pest control customers through its leading brands SX Environmental (Edialux), Insect-O-Cutor and Network, following the strengthening of the technical support team earlier in the year.
